The morning was quiet when truck driver Triune Blades noticed a sudden flicker of movement along a lonely stretch of country road.

There were no houses nearby, no barns, no sign of a mother cat or siblings. The wide, empty fields stretched out for miles in every direction.
It didn’t take long for Blades to realize that this kitten had been completely alone — and that fate had placed her directly in his path.

As the big truck rolled forward, Blades kept glancing over to check on his new passenger. Each time, she was still perched right there, alert and curious, occasionally rubbing her face against his cheek.
